Our Core Four
Evaluate
Taking time to pause and evaluate your health and wellness is essential because it allows you to realign with your body's needs and ensure you're nourishing your mind, body, and spirit. Sleep, nutrition, self-care, and movement are the foundations of vitality—by pausing, you create space to assess where you may need balance or improvement. Regular reflection helps prevent burnout, promotes long-term well-being, and empowers you to make intentional choices that support a healthier, more energized life.
Are you getting quality sleep that leaves you feeling fully awake and alert during the day?
Are you consuming nutritious meals that fuel your body?
Are you managing the obstacles in your life without major mental, emotional, or physical breakdowns?
Are you intentionally moving in ways to enhance your cardiovascular and musculoskeletal health?
Do you feel a sense of overall balance and well-being?
Together, we will assess your health and wellness dailies to maximize your vitality. And educate you with simple, consistent changes, that are in alignment of your goals to bring you real results.
Educate
After we assess the stability of your health and wellness, we work on helping you understand how your daily habits affect your vitality. Together, we will find solutions for improvement while providing support and accountability to achieve long-term changes in your life. During the Educate portion of our work together we will focus on sleep, nutrition, self-care, and movement.
Sleep. At least 35% of adults in the United States don’t get enough sleep and, over time, the lack of sleep is associated with multiple negative effects to your health like an increased risk of heart disease, elevated blood pressure, and increased depression to name a few. In our work together, we learn about the anatomy of sleep while helping prioritize your sleep with schedules and good sleep hygiene.
Nutrition. Healthy eating means fueling your body with nutritious foods. This is not a one-size-fits all concept as each person’s needs can vary based on age, sex, health, and activity levels. Helping you understand the kinds of foods you need, the appropriate portions, the difference between macro and micronutrients, and variety can help you prioritize what’s on your plate. We cover shopping, prepping, and cooking meals that give you vitality. We also arm you with strategies for eating out, family meals, holidays, and social gatherings.
Self-Care. We live in a modern world where we are overstressed, overstimulated, and overcommitted. Your fatigue is real. Your exhaustion is real. Feeling overwhelmed is real. We work together to identify when you need to take a step back and say “no",” ask for help, put yourself first, and set boundaries. By learning how to practice mindfulness, breathing exercises, and other relaxation techniques you start to protect your energy.
Movement. The best workout program for you is the one you love to do consistently, day in and day out, without fail. Together, we work through the five elements of fitness—cardiorespiratory endurance, muscle endurance, muscle strength, flexibility, and stretching—to find the exercises and movements that are both right for you and that work for you.
Empower
Empowerment in the face of obstacles often includes developing a positive mindset, recognizing your own ability to achieve your goals, finding inspiration and determination to pursue understanding, managing your emotions, and taking ownership of your own actions and decisions. It is not about avoiding difficulties but embracing them and becoming better at overcoming challenges, despite them. Together, we will work on:
Creating S.M.A.R.T. goals (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound) for yourself
Developing a plan of action to meet your S.M.A.R.T. goals
Identifying barriers and allocate resources
Holding yourself accountable with the help of a community, group, friends
Celebrating your achievements both big and small
Reflecting and learning from your progress and experiences
These tools are designed to help you create a system that you can follow, that is personalized to you, and most importantly that it’s one that you enjoy. Remember, it’s you against you.
Engage
There is power in numbers. Set yourself up for success by attaching yourself to others who want what you want, and desire to see you succeed. Built on trust, respect, and shared goals for success, these meaningful relationships and collaborations work to elevate you. They are key to adding value to each other as you offer your skills, expertise, and assistance to build mutually beneficial relationships. Identify mentors who can provide guidance and support to significantly boost your personal growth. Success is a collective effort, and your network can play a crucial role in your journey. Make it a goal to cultivate your environment.
